So yesterday I was talking about tattoos with my roomies again and how I kind of wanted a simple, lettered one on my rib-cage.

Then last night I had a dream where I went to get that tattoo done and then artist decided to give me a full upper-body tattoo instead. It was on my upper arms, chest, stomach, and back. It had a lot of lines haloed out from this blue figure (perhaps a dragon). And even though it was waaaay overdone and I complained to the artist that I couldn’t cover it up, I still thought it was pretty awesome.

that part of my dream last night had something to do with a lot of people (unrecognizable) brutally criticizing me for wearing makeup, calling me a “monster” and a “clown.” 

The odd thing is: although makeup hides my insecurities it is also one in itself.

I cried almost every 6 posts. And then I went and deleted my own sad tumblr posts. 

Today, the man that saved my life 28 years ago when he singlehandely fought off three other men who were trying to rape me, walks with a cane due to the leg injury he suffered by doing so. And he looked so proud today when he put down his cane and slowly walked our daughter down the aisle. MMT
